Have you a Superior Double room with a Bath ?

Yes we do, please make the bath a request when reserving your room.

Are the dog friendly rooms as good as all the other rooms as we do not want a room that smells DOG or dog hairs everywhere and I have a dog too

The dog friendly rooms are at the same standard as the rest of the rooms. All of our rooms are cleaned thoroughly by our house keeping team and each of our dog friendly rooms has a set of double doors leading out onto the garden.

Does this property have a lift

Yes. We have 9 rooms accessible via lift with no steps. When making a booking we ask our guests to advise us if they need lift access.

Just looking at booking one night in your suite for 4 people on Friday 19th Nov 2021. However will it be okay as I have two small non shedding lap dogs, is this room dog friendly?

We do not have a spa. The facility we do have is a bar/brasserie. However we are surrounded by beautiful Dartmoor.

Which evening do you have hotel entertainment. Thinking of July.

Thank you for your question. We have entertainment on a Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Tuesday and Thursday we have singers in the lounge and on a Friday we have a pianist in the Conservatory.

can we bring our two dogs

Yes we are a pet friendly hotel, allowing dogs in certain rooms and in the Lounge and The Tinpickle & Rhum Restaurant.

I’d like to arrive early morning to have day walking the moor first. Would it be possible to park there early (no need to check in until the evening)?

Check in opens at 3pm, but you're more than welcome to arrive early and use our carpark before going off for a walk.

Can I have a bath in my bathroom instead of a shower?

6 of our 36 rooms have a bath in them

We have two restaurants on site and we are within walking distance of The Rock Inn and The Ilsington Spa and Hotel.

No the Booking. com rate does not include Dinner. We can book the 4 night break with dinner for you if you give us a call.

Hi there, if I wanted to book the room with the beautiful bath by the window as in the pics which rooom do I need to book?

The room with the bath in the window is the honeymoon suite.

Hi, I love the hotel how looks May I ask you does have spa or jacuzzi ? How do I get to the hotel from London ? I wanna book for October Thank you

Thank you very much! The hotel does not have a spa or jacuzzi. You are can get to the hotel via the train to Newton Abbot Train Station and get a 20 minute taxi. Alternatively the drive from London takes around 4 hours, but is worth it!

How many universal EV charge points do you have?

We only have one place to charge electric vehicles, which you need to provide an adaptor for, there is an extra charge for using the charge point of £20.00.

Which public areas are dogs allowed in please?

Dogs are allowed on the ground floor, in the Tinpickle and Rhum and the lounge. They are not allowed in the Conservatory Restaurant. I hope this answers your question.

Can I book spa treatment

I am afraid we do not have a spa at the hotel. The facilities we have on site are the restaurant/cafe brasserie. We are surrounded by the Moorland on Dartmoor.
