Old Course Hotel St Andrews

The is no shuttle service from the hotel to the West Sands beach. The beach is a short 10 minute walk from the hotel.

The hotel is currently open for business as usual. At present our normal T&C's for all booking apply.

We do have a few dog friendly rooms on property - I would recommend contacting the hotel directly to ensure that you are allocated to one of these.

Guest have complimentary access to out Leisure Club from 6am - 10pm everyday. Guests also have complimentary access to the spa between 7am - 10am and 7pm - 9pm each day. Anytime outside of these hours there is a 40.00pp charge

Our Rooms mostly have shower over baths, with a percentage offering only showers or bath with separate showers. This would depend on the room type and view required.

On Sunday's the course is closed for visitors to enjoy a walk on the fairways, there is also a public path for you to walk and observe. Our dedicated Golf Stewards can help with the Ballot system however there is no guarantee you may be successful.

We have a variety of rooms that can be made as twin rooms. We have Eden Parkland view twin rooms which are front facing within the hotel, these are our entry level rooms. Good afternoon, I hope you are doing well. I can confirm our ground floor rooms are dog friendly. These rooms are our Champions Old Course, Champions Old Course Double/Double and a Deluxe Fairway Suite.

We would be able to accommodate dogs in a selection of our rooms - there is a supplement of £35 per dog per night which includes a cleaning charge as well as a dog bed and treat for each dog.

Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee tee times on the Old Course as this is a public course owned by The Links Trust. The only way to apply to play this course is by entering the Old Course Ballot.

I can confirm you are able to use the Spa Facilities without having a spa treatment booked.

Unfortunately, The Old Course is not our course and we do not have many tee times allocated. However, our Golf Stewards would be delighted to assist with entering the ballot or booking alternative courses.

As the Scottish Government has placed Scotland back into lockdown until at least the beginning of February, this does mean that the hotel will also be closed for this duration. At this time we do not have a confirmed reopening date.

We are a dog friendly hotel, we charge £35 per dog and allow two dogs per room. There would be no charge after payment of the first two nights. This charge includes a dog bed, food and water bowl, toy, treats and cleaning fees.
