Description

Set in a charming Devon longhouse dating back to the 13th century, this inn is located between Dartmoor’s Okehampton and Tavistock in the hamlet of Lake. Bearslake Inn offers 6 en-suite rooms and parking. The A30 is around 2 miles from the property. The Sourton Tor, Corn Ridge and Great Links Tor are all just a short walk away with the Granite Way cycle path running directly behind the pub. All rooms offer tea and coffee making facilities with fresh Taw Valley milk (available from the bar), luxury toiletries, digital TV and free WiFi. Each has an en suite bathroom with hairdryer and ironing facilities are available. Out of the 6 rooms, 4 of them are pet-friendly. The property offers a breakfast hamper, available 7 days a week for an additional fee. It features many options of homemade, sweet and savoury goodies, Devon yoghurts and cereals, fresh fruits, local fruit juices, Devon blended tea, roasted coffee, smoked salmon or a bottle of chilled bubbly. A Grab and Go breakfast including a takeaway coffee or tea of your choice and a croissant per person is also available During our summer opening hours (1 May to 30 Sept) we serve meals 7 days a week and specialise in West country-style meals with locally sourced produce. During our Winter hours (1 Oct to 30 April) we serve food between Weds and Sunday . The property’s Snug Bar serves locally produced real ales. Guests can also relax in the spacious garden with views of the moor across open farmland.

How much would be cost breakfast for 2 adult and two children(6&2)?

Our Luxury breakfast hamper is £10 per person per day, a hamper for two may be sufficient for 2 adults and 2 children

As the night I would like to book is my wedding night, would it be possible for a later checkin? Nothing stupendous, maybe 10:30/11?

Dear Janet We are plannning on opening for Bank holiday Monday (we don't normally open on a Monday though). Our breakfast offering is a Luxury Dartmoor Breakfast hamper that gets delivered to your room, we don't do a full English at the moment

Hi £120 is for 2 people in the room, £150 is for 3 people in the room and £180 is for 4 people to stay in the room, so for 4 people and a dog it would be £180 per room per night Best wishes Lisa

Our restaurant is open 7 days a week between 1 May and 30 Sept, and then as you rightly say we are closed Mon/Tuesday Oct to April? On a Fri, Sat and Sun there is a hot option in the hamper

Either our Saddle room or Longhouse suite have separate areas with single beds in - although they are all within the sam room. The rooms are big though. The biggest is probably the Saddle room

We have a very large car park so parking is never normally a problem. If you have booked an non dog friendly room we don't allow dogs in these, however please do be aware our pub is dog friendly so there will be dogs around in the bar areas

Does the quadruple rooms have privacy for a couple staying with 2 children or is it all open plan?

They are separate areas within the same room but not completely private
